ATCs by Josh Ronsen

Gallery of artworks

Artist Trading Cards are artworks the size of baseball trading cards, 2.5” by 3.5”. Josh Ronsen has made hundreds of them. Most of these now live in far off places.Let me know if you would like to trade at josh @ ronsen.org [remove spaces]. Currently I am working on an ongoing monthly exchange of 12 cards between 13 artists: Honor Roll ATC. This is a Mail Art project and is open to everyone from anywhere, even you reading this!

The spatter paint rectangles used above were sent to me unsigned, I don't remember who sent them, but when cut up, they made perfect ATCs as you can see. -Josh
The penciled geometric drawings seen above are drawings I made in drafting class in high school (instead of doing the assignments) in 1985. What to do with these more doodles-than-art? Cut them up for Mail Art collages! Duh! -Josh
These grey shapes are AI-generated from inputs of Vanessa Gelvin sculptures.
These are some of the first ATCs I made, and some of these came back to me in Vänçi Stirnemann's long-running ATC exchanges.
The purple-ish one on the right is based on a photo by Carmen Resendez.
Shoham is a word in the Jewish Bible whose exact meaning has been lost.
The one with red letters is based on the text score “For Brandon Young”.
